(Interfax) - Some of the military hardware belonging to the 62nd Russian military base located in Georgia's Akhalkalaki arrived early on Wednesday at the railroad station of Tsalka, where it will be loaded onto a train and transported to Russia, a source from the base's command staff told Interfax.
"On Wednesday, local non-governmental organizations are planning to hold a protest rally against the withdrawal of the Russian troops, and therefore it was decided to remove the hardware at night so as not to aggravate the situation," the source said.
