Volume of cargo transshipped from France through Turkish ports revealed

The volume of cargo transshipment from France through Turkish ports exceeded 437,273 tons in January 2020, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure on Feb. 26.

In January 2020, the volume of cargo transshipment from France by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 150,960 tons, and by ships flying the flag of other countries – to 286,313 tons.

According to the ministry, cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying the French flag was not carried out in January 2020.

In this month, the volume of cargo transshipment of goods by transit from France through the Turkish ports amounted to 11,066 tons.

Last month, the volume of cargo transshipment through the Turkish ports exceeded 32.9 million tons. The volume of cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 2.4 million tons.

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying the flag of other countries amounted to 30.5 million tons.

In January 2020, over 6.1 million tons of cargo transshipment in transit were carried out through Turkish ports.
