BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 12. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian held a phone talk with European Council President Charles Michel, Trend reports.
The sides discussed Iran-Europe relations, the potential resumption of nuclear deal negotiations, and recent developments in the Gaza Strip.
Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that trust and mutual benefit are the foundation of the nuclear agreement.
"If both sides fulfill their commitments and trust is established, other issues can be addressed in the course of negotiations," he added.
The President of the European Council also expressed hope for the start of effective cooperation between Iran and the EU, based on mutual benefit and the removal of barriers to broader collaboration.
