BAKU. Azerbaijan. August 21. At least twenty people have died in the sinking of the whaling vessel HB Jesus Christ in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Trend reports.

"At least twenty bodies of the dead were found at the site of the shipwreck near the village of Majoko on the Lukeni River in Mai-Ndombe province," the publication said.

Sixteen dead people were found on Tuesday, and another four were found at the scene of the accident on Monday. It is expected that further downstream, fishermen and villagers will later discover more dead people and the death toll will rise.
