Turnout in Morocco's parliamentary elections was estimated at 11 per cent by midday, according to official estimates Friday.
The figure is similar to the turnout recorded at the same time in 2007, when total turnout had reached 37 per cent by the time polls closed, DPA reported.
Thirty-three parties are fielding more than 7,000 candidates in the running for 395 parliamentary seats.
