Egypt's Supreme Electoral Commission extended voting period until 11pm due to the "high turnout", Ahram Online reported
The commission had earlier Saturday extended the voting period on a referendum on a draft constitution from 7pm to 9pm.
Zagloul El-Balshi, the commission's head, said that only a presidential decree can extend voting till Sunday.
