The military has opened fire on supporters of ousted Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi while they approached a building in Cairo, where Morsi is presumably held under arrest, news agencies said, citing the testimony of witnesses, RIA Novosti reported.
The media reported that Morsi supporters tried to storm the building of the Republican Guard in the Egyptian capital.
Three people died and dozens were injured in the exchange of fire between Egyptian military and supporters of ousted President Mohamed Morsi, Al-Arabiya TV channel's website says.
