Israel considers new Gaza inquiry
The Goldstone report accused Israel of using "disproportionate force" in Gaza, BBC reported
The Israeli government is considering a review of the internal military inquiries which cleared its troops of serious misconduct during last winter's offensive in Gaza.
Israel's Deputy Foreign Minister, Danny Ayalon, tells World Update that another investigation could be conducted if, as he put it, it was necessary to prove to the world or to Israelis that there were no 'wrongdoings'.
A recent United Nations investigation concluded that both Israel and the Palestinian Hamas movement had committed war crimes during the conflict.
Israel refused to co-operate with the UN team, which was headed by Judge Richard Goldstone.
