11 policemen killed in Afghan bus blast
( Gulfnews ) Kabul: At least 11 policemen have been killed when a suicide bomber attacked a bus carrying policemen in the Afghan capital Kabul on Tuesday, a police official said.
The official, who declined to be named, said the bus, full of police on their way to work, was completely destroyed. He said there was a possibility it may have been a double suicide attack as a motorcycle next to the bus was also blown apart.
The blast, on the western outskirts of the city, happened at the start of the morning rush hour. Ambulances rushed to the scene which was cordoned off by police.
It was the second suicide bomb attack in Kabul in four days. Twenty-eight soldiers and two civilians were killed in a similar attack on a bus on Saturday.
