(dpa) - A 4-year-old boy was found dead inside a closed washing machine in the north-western Estonian town of Haapsalu, prosecutors said Monday.
In the incident which took place April 16, police were called and told that a lifeless four-year-old boy had been taken to hospital by ambulance.
Efforts to resuscitate him failed.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of the child's death. The prosecutors launched a criminal investigation on suspicion of negligence in the death.
