Support for the Lisbon Treaty in Ireland has recovered slightly in the past fortnight but over a third of voters remain undecided, a poll carried by the Sunday Business Post showed, dpa reported.

Support for the treaty aimed at streamlining decision-making in the 27-member bloc among Irish voters now stands at 38 per cent, up three per cent from a similar poll two weeks ago. Opposition to the treaty now stands at 28 per cent, a drop of three per cent.

Undecided voters remain unchanged at 34 per cent, the Red C poll showed.

Ireland is the only EU country to vote in a referendum to ratify the reform treaty that replaced the EU constitution rejected by Dutch and French voters. The vote is scheduled for June 12.

New Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen has described getting the treaty approved in the referendum as his "first priority."
