Two Estonians, a Finnish boy, and a dog entered the books Saturday as winners of the Ninth Mobile Phone Throwing World Championships in the eastern Estonian town of Narva.
Timmo Lilium won the men's category with a throw of 85 metres, while Valeria Kadorova won the women's category with a throw of 41 metres, the dpa reported.
Riku Kankkunen, a 12-year-old from Finland, came out best in the children's category with a throw of 55 metres.
The freestyle competition - for the most artistic approach - went to an Estonian dog named Cara, who spat the mobile phone 30 centimetres.
The contest was the first mobile phone-throwing championship held outside Finland.
It drew more than 50 participants from countries as far afield as the United States, Korea, Japan, Finland, Sweden, Estonia, and Russia.
