Consecutive bomb blasts in a western-Baghdad residential area killed one person and wounded nine on Friday, an Iraqi police official said, reported dpa.
A bomb planted in front of a house in al-Jamaa district killed the owner of the house and wounded six people, the source told the Voice of Iraq (VOI) news agency.
A second blast injured three policemen who had rushed to the site.
No information about the perpetrators was immediately available
