President-elect Barack Obama and President George W. Bush have privately agreed to come together again in January for a second post-election meeting at the White House, but this time they're inviting the three living former presidents as well, CNN reported.
Two sources told CNN that at their first post-election meeting in the Oval Office on November 10, Obama proposed that the two men get together again before the inaugural along with former presidents Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
The sources said the current president quickly agreed it would be a good idea.
On Wednesday, White house press secretary Dana Perino said Bush will host a luncheon for the four on January 7. "I'll provide more details as we get closer to the date," she said.
Obama's inauguration is January 20.
