Malaysian Supreme Head to visit Thailand

Malaysian Supreme Head Mizan Zainal Abidin will make a three-day state visit to Thailand beginning on Monday, according to the Malaysian Foreign Ministry Sunday.

"The visit is expected to strengthen further the strong ties of friendship and cooperation that exist between Malaysia and Thailand," the ministry said in a statement available here on Sunday.

"It is also a demonstration of the special importance and value that Malaysia attaches to its relations with Thailand," the ministry said.

The Malaysian supreme head will start his visit to Thailand at the invitation of Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Xinhua reported.

He will make his way to Vietnam for a three-day visit on March 12, according to the statement.
