U.S. President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton visited Sultan Hussein mosque in Cairo an hour before addressing Muslims, Al Jazeera television channel reported.
The president is expected to address Muslims in the Cairo University, to speak about U.S. future relations with Muslim countries and Washington's plans regarding Middle East peace process.
Obama has already met with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and discussed future Palestine-Israel peace process.
