Vietnam confirmed 238 more cases of A/H1N1 influenza, raising the total number of flu patients in the country to 4,902, said a report of the website of Vietnam's Ministry of Health on Tuesday, Xinhua reported.
Among the newly-reported cases, 170 were in the south, 40 in the north and 28 in the central highland provinces of Vietnam, said the report.
Out of the country's total cases, 4,481 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals. The rest are being quarantined and treated.
Vietnam has reported six deaths of the A/H1N1 flu since its outbreak.
