Explosion hits hotel in Pakistan's Rawalpindi
A loud blast has occurred in a hotel located in sadder area of the garrison city of Rawalpindi near the Pakistani capital of Islamabad, local TV channels reported Monday morning.
According to the reports, loss of lives and the nature of blast have yet to be ascertained. Sources have feared causalities in blast, Xinhua reported.
The private channel Geo News said the explosion occurred outside the Shalimar hotel on the Mall Road besides the Pearl Continental Hotel, also close to the Pakistan Army headquarters.
