At least four people were killed and 15 were injured as twin bomb blasts ripped through an army area in the central Pakistani city of Multan on Tuesday, police said, Xinhua reported.
The blast occurred near the office of spy agency ISI and an army school at Qasim Bela area in Multan at 12:10 p.m. local time (0710 GMT), they said. Several school children were among the injured, hospital sources said.
TV footage showed several collapsed and damaged buildings while the army was stopping the people from approaching the area.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
Ambulances and rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the injured to hospitals.
Witnesses said that the army cordoned off the area and stopped TV cameramen from approaching the area due to the sensitivity of the area.
