Former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger was hospitalised Saturday in Seoul suffering from what medical officials said were slight stomach pains, dpa reported.
But officials at the Yonsei Severance Hospital said that Kissinger, 86, was recovering and that his condition was not serious, the news agency Yonhap reported.
"As of now, former secretary Kissinger is admitted and receiving treatment. His condition is improving and he is not in serious condition," a hospital official told Yonhap.
Kissinger had arrived in Seoul earlier in the week to attend a security conference.
