At least four people died and seven more were injured in a highway accident on Sunday in Mexico's western state of Jalisco, officials said, Xinhua reported.
According to preliminary investigation, a van with a U.S. plate felt into a 50-meter deep cliff in a rural area in Talpa de Allende municipality.
The agents of the Rural Police of Talpa de Allende, some 600 km west of Mexico City, arrived at the scene first.
The injured were taken to a hospital near the scene. One injured said the vehicle was coming from Tomatlan municipality to Talpa de Allende.
Authorities said the driver could have lost control of the vehicle due to speeding in a road with a lot of sharp curves. Enditem
