Triple murder shakes Dutch town

A 33-year-old man killed two Brazilian sisters and a 9-year-old boy in the Dutch town of Enschede, prosecutors said on Friday.

The man allegedly shot the women, aged 18 and 35, and the son of the 35-year-old woman before killing himself late Thursday, DPA reported.

The man, who has born in Enschede to Italian parents, had had a six-year relationship with the older woman, which she had ended six months earlier. Her son was from a previous relationship.

The two sisters and the man had reportedly had many previous arguments in which the man became violent.

Another two Brazilian women and two children were present in the flat where the attack took place but were able to flee and look for help.
