Some 14 Japanese tourists were injured and an Egyptian driver died in a traffic accident in southern Egypt on Friday, a local security source said.
The accident occurred on Friday afternoon when a local minibus rode into the opposite lane and collided with a bus carrying Japanese tourists on a road in Aswan Governorate, the source told Xinhua.
Local hospital sources said 13 of the Japanese tourists were slightly injured and one was in serious condition.
The driver of the minibus died. Four other Egyptians were also injured.
