A two-day court hearing on the requested extradition of Julian Assange to Sweden was adjourned Tuesday and will continue later in the week, the court in London said.
During Tuesday's proceedings, witnesses for the defence gave their account of Sweden's handling of the extradition case, dpa reported.
The prosecution insisted that it was right for Sweden to have the WikiLeaks founder arrested under a European Warrant because he posed a "flight risk."
The proceedings were adjourned until Friday, the court said.
