The president of football's controlling body FIFA Joseph Blatter was on Wednesday elected for a fourth term of office at the organization's congress, dpa reported.
Blatter, 75, who took over from Joao Havelange in 1998, was the only candidate standing after Saturday's withdrawal of Mohamed bin Hammam.
The president of the Asian Football Confederation withdrew after FIFA's ethics committee opened an investigation concerning bribery against him and three others.
Of the 203 votes cast, 186 were for Blatter.
