A lottery ticket bought in Britain has won the largest-ever jackpot in Europe, news reports said Wednesday.
It was not known whether the ticket that won the 185-million-euro (259-million-dollar) Euromillions prize was bought by a lottery syndicate, the BBC reported online.
The Euromillions lottery has been operating since 2004 as a joint venture between the national lotteries of nine European countries, DPA reported.
