Afghanistan's strategic partnership agreement with the United States will last for ten years after foreign forces leave the country in 2014, an official said Thursday, DPA reported.
"Based on the Afghan documents here, it is until 2024" Safia Seddiqi, spokeswoman for the Loya Jirga meeting said.
The pact is one of the two issues being discussed at the Kabul tribal elders' meeting that started on Wednesday.
