Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has appointed Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov as head of the Kremlin administration, the president's spokesperson Natalia Timakova told journalists.
"By a decree Medvedev appointed Sergei Ivanov as the head of the Kremlin administration," RIA Novosti quotes Timakova as saying.
Ivanov is dismissed as Deputy Prime Minister, Timakova said.
