Foreign intervention in Syria may push the country into the abyss of a full-scale civil war, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in her Sunday's interview in Rabat, Morocco, The Voice of Russia reported.
Clinton said Washington was doing everything possible to help push a democratic transition in Syria and ensure humanitarian supplies to the conflict-stricken Arab nation.
Early this month Russia and China vetoed a Western-endorsed draft Security Council resolution on Syria, preventing a repetition of the Libyan scenario in Damascus.
