Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has dismissed Vladimir Rushailo from the post of Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on the development of relations with Kyrgyzstan, a decree published on Monday at the portal of legal information said.

An order appointing Rushailo a special representative of the Russian President to develop relations with Kyrgyzstan dated May 13, 2010 is recognized as invalid.

In 1999-2001, Rushailo served as head of the Interior Ministry, in 2001-2004 was secretary of the Security Council, in 2004 - 2007 - the CIS Executive Secretary. In December 2007 he was elected senator from the Arkhangelsk region in the Federation Council at a regular session of the Assembly of Deputies of the region.
