At least ten people were killed and six others injured when a passenger van was hit by a bomb in Pakistan's northwest tribal area of Lower Orakzai on Wednesday morning, reported local Urdu TV channel Express.
The bomb was planted inside the van, said local media, adding that the bomb went off when the van heading from Orakzai to Kohat reached the border area between the two places, Xinhua reported.
All the injured people have been shifted to nearby hospitals, said local reports, adding that there were an estimated 20 people on the van when the blast took place.
Located in northwest Paksitan, Orakzai is the only one out of the seven tribal areas in the country, that does not border Afghanistan.
