Kerry and Abbas in second meeting
US Secretary of State John Kerry met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas for the second time in 24 hours Saturday, dpa reported.
The talks in Amman came as part of the chief US diplomat's fifth visit to the region aimed at reviving the Palestinian-Israeli peace process since the start of the year.
Since Thursday, Kerry has been commuting between the Jordanian capital and Jerusalem, where he held two meetings with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Washington has been pressing the sides to resume talks before September, when the UN General Assembly meets.
