Three people have been killed in a shootout in the commune of Roye in northern France, local media reported Tuesday, Sputnik reported.
Among the dead were a man, a woman and a child, according to the Courrier Picard newspaper.
Four people, including two policemen, were seriously injured in the incident, the daily added. The suspected shooter is also reportedly among the wounded.
The incident took place in an area populated by members of the Roma community, near an outlet of the Intermarche supermarket chain.
