Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam has declared a state of emergency amid raging wildfires in the east of the state, Sputnik reported.
Certain requirements will be eased under the state of emergency, to give support to the victims of the fires, The Times of Northwest Indiana said on Thursday.
On Monday, wildfires spread from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park into inhabited areas in eastern Tennessee.
