Plane with 160 passengers makes emergency landing in Prague amid bomb threat
A plane flying from Las Palmas, the capital of Spain’s Gran Canaria, to Warsaw had to make an emergency landing in Prague amid a bomb threat, local media reported.
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft had 160 passengers on board, all of them have been safely evacuated from the plane, Czech Radio said late on Friday citing the country’s Interior Minister Milan Chovanec.
The aircraft is being inspected and police have started an investigation into the incident. The suspect has been dealt with, Czech Radio said.
