US Embassy ready to help Ukraine's Emergency Ministry

(ForUm) - United States Embassy in Ukraine is ready to render any necessary help to Emergency Control Ministry, as US Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador William Taylor said during the meeting with Emergency Minister of Ukraine Nestor Shufrich.

The main aim of the meeting is to offer any necessary help, Taylor said. The Ambassador also underlined that US and Ukraine have great experience in overcoming emergency situations. He noted US Embassy is ready to continue close cooperation with Ukraine's Ministry, reports Trend.

In his turn, Nestor Shufrich said that the Emergency Ministry officers not only exchange experience with foreign colleagues, but are always ready to render real help. He reminded that Ukraine's Emergency Control Ministry took part in fire extinguishing in Georgia and Turkey.

We can render immediate help not only on the territory of Ukraine, but bring troops to any corner of Europe, Shufrich said.

In addition, he noted that Emergency Ministry plans to form a service of catastrophe medicine.
