Foreign minister to represent Ukraine during Putin's visit

(ForUm) - The Foreign Minister Borys Tarasyuk will represent the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine at the negotiations with the President of the RF Vladimir Putin tomorrow in Kyiv. The press secretary of the President of Ukraine Iryna Vannykova told today at the briefing.

Answering the question whether Tarasyuk be present at tomorrow's negotiations between the Presidents of Ukraine and Russia, she said: I think, yes.

Moreover, commenting on the position of the President Viktor Yushchenko concerning conflict around Tarasyuk, Vannykova noted that the President's position remains the same: he supports Tarasyuk's activity in the office of the Foreign Minister, reports Trend.

The press secretary underlined that the President is expecting the Constitutional Court's explanations, but considers Tarasyuk's being in office absolutely legal and reasonable.

Commenting on yesterday's incindent in the Cabinet when the deputies from Party of Regions tried to keep Tarasyuk out of the Government session, Vanykova said that conduct of the people's deputies is inadmissible. According to her, the President considers Tarasyuk has a right to participate in these sessions.
