( ForUm ) - President of Russia Vladimir Putin expressed hope concerning regulation of political crisis in Ukraine. "We observe the situation in Ukraine and see that there was economic and social growth but now Ukraine faces again political problems," Putin said after the meeting with Yanukovych yesterday in Moscow.
"We count on our main partner of the former USSR and one of the major economic and political partners will manage with these problems as soon as possible," Putin said.
According to Putin, despite such situation there is a significant turnover, Ukrainian export to Russia in particular.
"I hope this visit to Russia will be for benefit and contribute to strengthening and improvement of our relations," he noted.
In turn, Yanukovych also expressed regret concerning political crisis in Ukraine and explained the way of its regulation.
Putin commenting on Yanukovych explanation concerning opposition obligations, said: "You do not have opposition at all. There is everyone in power in Ukraine. Who is opposition? I can't understand it."
