It is out of question that Israel can use NATO's missile defense system, the Turkish President Abdullah Gul said in an interview with Euronews television channel.
President Gul said that the missile defense system should not be related with those countries that are out of the Alliance, and, above all, with Israel.
"Israel is not a NATO member. Cooperation with this country is out of question. Therefore, Israel can not take advantage of NATO's potential," Gul said.
Regarding to Turkey's relations with Israel after the capture of the vessel "Flotilla of Freedom" by the Israeli intelligence service President Gul said that Turkey cannot forget it.
"Israel's attack on "Flotilla of Freedom" changed many things. The Israeli Army attacked a flotilla with humanitarian aid in international waters, killing many people. It is impossible to forget this incident. If a country recognized by international law and is a member of the UN, then it must fulfill the requirements of international law," Gul said.
Answering a question on whether there are differences in Ankara and the West's attitude towards the Iranian nuclear issue, President Gul said that Turkey's sensitive approach to the issue related to its neighbors is normal.
