Ten people were injured as a result of the explosion near a police station in Yenibosna district of Turkey’s Istanbul city, the governor of Istanbul Vasip Sahin told reporters, the Anadolu Agency reported Oct.6.
Presumably, a car bomb caused the explosion. The blast was so strong that it was heard in Ataturk Airport, according to witnesses.
Bomb squads, policemen and ambulances have been sent to the scene.
