VP: Turkey ready to help New Zealand in fight against terror

Turkey is ready to help New Zealand in the fight against terror, Turkish Vice-President Fuat Oktay said before his visit to New Zealand, together with Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Trend reports via Turkish media.
Turkey expresses solidarity with the New Zealand government in the fight against terror, Oktay said.
According to latest reports, 49 people have been killed, and 20 seriously injured, after gunmen opened fire at two mosques in the New Zealand city of Christchurch on March 15. Four suspects were detained.
An Australian citizen of ultra-right views - Brenton Tarrant, a native of Australia's Grafton fired at one of the mosques. He streamed the attack online, and before the attack, published a 37-page manifesto, in which he called his actions a terrorist attack.
