In January-April 2019, 14 companies with Uzbek capital were registered in Turkey, which is three companies more compared to the same period of 2018, Trend reports referring to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
The total capital of Uzbek companies registered in Turkey during the first four months of 2019 amounted to 1.945 million Turkish liras, while in the same period of 2018 this figure was 460,000 Turkish liras.
In January-April 2019, the largest number of Uzbek companies were registered in Istanbul (11 companies), whose total capital amounted to 1.545 million liras.
The rest of the Uzbek companies registered in January-April 2019 fall to the share of other regions of the country.
In January-April 2019, one production, nine wholesale and retail, and two travel companies with Uzbek capital were registered in Turkey. The rest were involved in other sectors of the economy.
The total capital of nine wholesale and retail companies registered during the reported period amounted to 1.545 million liras.
