The appeal by the US Department of State regarding safety of its citizens traveling to Turkey doesn’t reflect reality, Trend reports with reference to a statement issued Sept. 7 by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry said that the US Department of State should refrain from such statements.
“The statements by the US Department of State aren’t of a friendly nature,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.
On Sept. 6, the US Department of State urged the citizens of the country to be vigilant when travelling to Turkey.
