In January-August 2019, 125 companies with Azerbaijani capital were registered in Turkey, which is 16 companies more compared to the same period in 2018, Trend reports referring to Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
The total capital of Azerbaijani companies registered in Turkey in the eight months of 2019 amounted to 18.695 million Turkish liras, while in the same period of 2018 this figure was 15.278 million Turkish liras.
In January-August 2019, most of all Azerbaijani companies were registered in Istanbul (105 companies) and their total capital amounted to 14.937 million Turkish liras.
During the reported period, eight companies with Azerbaijani capital were registered in the province of Antalya and the total capital of them amounted to 1.777 million liras.
In January-August 2019, three mining, 14 industrial, 11 construction, 57 wholesale and retail companies, seven tourism and two financial-insurance companies with Azerbaijani capital were registered in Turkey. The remaining 31 registered companies with Azerbaijani capital are involved in other sectors of the economy.
The total capital of 57 wholesale and retail companies registered during the reported period amounted to 8.495 million liras.
