Cargo transshipment volume from Ukraine via Turkish ports in September 2019 revealed

In September 2019, the volume of cargo transshipment from Ukraine through ports of Turkey amounted to 9.7 million tons, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
The ministry noted that in September 2019, the volume of cargo transshipment from Ukraine by ships flying the Ukrainian flag amounted to 508,451 tons, while the volume of cargo carried by vessels flying flags of other countries amounted to 7.6 million tons.
During the reported period, transshipment of Ukrainian cargo by ships flying the flag of Turkey amounted to 1.6 million tons.
As reported, 1.6 million tons of cargo were shipped from Ukraine in transit through ports of Turkey.
In September 2019, 260.1 million tons of cargo were transshipped in Turkish ports as a whole.
Over the mentioned period, vessels flying the Turkish flag transshipped 21.0 million tons of cargo, while vessels flying the flag of their country – 12.1 million tons, and the vessels flying the flag of other countries – 226.9 million tons of cargo.
