Volumes of cargo transshipment from Ukraine via Turkish ports disclosed

Cargo transshipment from Ukraine through ports of Turkey amounted to over 1.1 million tons in January 2020, Trend reports with reference to Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Ministry.
Last month, the volume of cargo transshipment from Ukraine via Turkish ports by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 105,814 tons, while the ships flying the Ukrainian flag carried 58,285 tons of cargo, and ships flying flags of other countries accounted for the remaining 973,877 tons.
Over the reporting period, the volume of cargo transshipment in transit from Ukraine via Turkey's ports amounted to 217,146 tons.
The total cargo transshipment through ports of Turkey exceeded 32.9 million tons in January 2020.
Cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to over 2.4 million tons.
The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying flags of their country of origin amounted to over 1.5 million tons, while the vessels flying flags of other countries carried just over 29 million tons of cargo.
In total, over 6.1 million tons of cargo in transit were transported through Turkish ports.
