Amount of cargo transshipped by Lebanese vessels via Turkish ports revealed

Cargo transshipment from Lebanon through ports of Turkey amounted to 328,398 tons in January 2020, Trend reports with reference to the Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Ministry.
Last month, the volume of cargo transshipment from Lebanon via Turkish ports by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 41,375 tons, while the ships flying the Lebanese flag carried 11,630 tons of cargo, and ships flying flags of other countries accounted for the remaining 275,393 tons.
Over the reporting period, the volume of cargo transshipment in transit from Lebanon via Turkey's ports amounted to 13,378 tons.
The total cargo transshipment through ports of Turkey exceeded 32.9 million tons in January 2020.
Cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to over 2.4 million tons.
The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying flags of their country of origin amounted to over 1.5 million tons, while the vessels flying flags of other countries carried just over 29 million tons of cargo.
In total, over 6.1 million tons of cargo were transported through Turkish ports.
