Export of wood and furniture from Turkey to Georgia increased by 15.58 percent from January through February 2020, compared to the same period of 2019, amounting to $21.835 million, Turkey’s Ministry of Trade told Trend.
Turkey’s export of wood and furniture to Georgia increased by 27.76 percent in February 2020 compared to February 2019, reaching $11.9 million.
Export of wood and furniture from Turkey to world markets increased by 11.7 percent from January through February 2020, compared to the same period last year, amounting to $898.6 million.
Over the reporting period, Turkey’s export of wood and furniture amounted to 3.1 percent of country's total export.
Turkey’s export of wood and furniture to the world markets exceeded $445.2 million in February 2020, which is 8.2 percent more compared to the same month of 2019.
In February 2020, Wood and furniture export from Turkey amounted to 3 percent of the country's total export.
From February 2019 through February 2020, Turkey’s export of wood and furniture reached $5.6 billion.
