Сargo transshipment volume via Turkish Hopa port made public

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish port of Hopa in Artvin province amounted to 64,401 tons from January through March 2020, Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.

Over the reporting period, 39 tons of cargo were transshipped by ships flying the Turkish flag via Hopa port, and 64,362 tons of cargo - by ships flying the flags of other countries.

In 1Q2020, the volume of cargo transshipment by transit through the Hopa port amounted to 21,400 tons.

During the reporting period, the volume of cargo transported by ships via Turkish ports exceeded 94.6 million tons.

According to the ministry, the volume of cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 7.4 million tons from January through March 2020.

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying their countries' flags amounted to 3.9 million tons, while the cargo transshipment by ships flying the flags of other countries stood at 83.1 million tons in 1Q2020.

Over the reporting period, 18.4 million tons of cargo were transited through the ports of Turkey.

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports amounted to 32.1 million tons in March 2020.

The volume of cargo transshipped by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 2.8 million tons.

In March 2020, 5.9 million tons of cargo were transported in transit through the ports of Turkey.
