Some 8,462 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Azerbaijan from January through March 2020, which is by 9 percent more than in the same period of 2019, Trend reports on April 28 referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
"For the reporting period, 2.9 percent of the total volume of cargo transshipment by trucks from Turkey accounted for Azerbaijan," the association said.
According to the association, 3,306 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Azerbaijan in March 2020, which is 11 percent more compared to March 2019.
"From January through March 2020, 2,255 Azerbaijani trucks transported cargo to Turkey, which is 52 percent more compared to the same period of 2019,and 892 Azerbaijani trucks transported cargo to Turkey in March 2020, which is 51 percent more compared to March 2019," UND said.
In total, 290,069 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad from January through March 2020, which is 3 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
Some 78,646 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad in March 2020, which is 26 percent less compared to March 2019.
